Not all PDAs play all file types. Handheld players also include MP3 players which will usually play many but not all audio formats. An example of this is an iPod will not play Windows Media Audio files. Players which play Windows Media Audio will not play Apple products. When selecting a player or a PDA, it is important to think about what else you want to do with the player or PDA, and what functions it has available. Some MP3 players, like the Creative Muvo, are also flash drives for carrying data. Some MP3 players also serve as FM radios. Some can record a radio broadcast or local voices, such as a lecture or discussion. A new trend on MP3 players is to include a small screen for displaying static and moving images, such as digital photos, music videos, TV shows, and movies.
