Be a part of our masterpiece.

Together we represent brush strokes in the art of Illinois librarianship. Please share a photo of your library in our group Flickr account, il_libraries.  Please be sure that your library has a release for photos that you upload that include images of any people other than library staff.

To represent your library, do the following:

1) If you don’t already have a Flickr account, set one up for your library. Go to http://www.flickr.com

2) Join the “Illinois Libraries” group.

     Select Groups

     Type “Illinois Libraries” in the Find a Group search box, click “Search” button.

     Click on the Group name

     Find the link “Join this group?” – click to join

     Confirm joining by click the “Join This Group” button

3) Upload a picture to your Flickr account.  Be sure to tag your photo with your Library name and add useful tags.

4) Share your photo with the Illinois Libraries group.

    Select the group you wish to share the photo with – Illinois Libraries.

    Confirm the addition of the photo.

That’s it – continue to share photos of your library’s people, places and things to add more brushstrokes and texture to our masterpiece.
